Guilt-free Gifts is a specialized service providing the highest quality natural, organic, eco-friendly & fairtrade gifts & products.

It was inspired by a need to contribute to being part of the solution to some of the problems that we are facing today.

At Guilt-free Gifts we truly believe that through our purchasing power we can create change. The more we vote with our wallets by choosing natural, organic, eco-friendly & fairtrade products, the more we encourage governments & companies to provide responsible options, innovation & solutions to our health, environmental & social concerns.

So began Guilt-free Gifts … a hassle-free, fun & easy way to choose ‘better’ gifts & products that are accessible to anyone & everyone with a taste for quality, and a desire to make a difference!

Our ‘Guilt-free-NESS’

Although we are definitely not perfect, we are always striving to make our business as ‘impact-free’ as possible.
Here are some of the things we are already doing (at both business & personal levels):

o We donate to various organizations that actively support the environment, animal, social welfare & health issues – it’s our way of ‘spreading the love around’. They will always be featured on our welcome page, so you can see who we, and you, are helping when you make a purchase!
o We use 100% Origin’s Green Earth Electricity program to power our office & recently added a solar hot water system.
o We recycle most of our waste & put all our veggie & garden scraps into the compost.
o We have water saving devices, (rainwater tank coming soon!), and energy efficient light globes & appliances.
o We grow some of our own fruit, veggies & herbs organically on site.
o We use grey water from the washing machine to water the lawn.
o Our gift tags & business cards are handmade from 100% recycled post-consumer paper & they also contain seeds. They can be planted and pretty flowers grow! (Full circle recycling).
o Our gift boxes are made of 100% recycled-pulp materials & they are also reusable.
o There's a lot more we plan to do….the journey is far from over!

How we choose our products - Our Criteria

We take great time & care researching & selecting the products we stock in our range & they must be:

 produced sustainably
 recycled, recyclable or able to be used for another purpose
 non-toxic and biodegradable
 traded under fair trade practices
 made without harming or exploiting people, animals &/or the environment at large
